Tweeting Ngeh Koo Ham Strikes Again

After humiliating Islam through his Twitter, Ngeh Koo Ham did it again by tweeting a response to Nurul Izzah’s statement.

Nurul as MP is defending the Fed Const. Art 11(1) EVERY PERSON has the right to profess & practise his religion”, Ngeh Koo Ham through his Twitter

Well, Article 11(1) is subjected to Clause (4) that says that the State law and in respect of the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur, Labuan and Putrajaya, federal law may control or restrict the propagation of any religious doctrine or belief among persons professing the religion of Islam.

Fed Const says up to age 18 foll religion of parents. Thereafter, he has freedom to choose”. Ngeh Koo Ham through his Twitter

This tweet is also not true because Article 160 of the the Federation Constitution says,
‘Malay’ means a person who professes the religion of Islam, habitually speaks the Malay language, according to Malay custom and-
(A) before Merdeka Day borned in the Federation or in Singapore or borned before Merdeka Day and the mother or father was born in the Federation or in Singapore, or is on Merdeka Day domiciled in the Federation or in Singapore, or
(B) is the offspring of such a person.

Therefore Ngeh Koo Ham was wrong. As a leader, Ngeh Koo Ham should have studied the Federal Constitution first before making a statement. He not only gave wrong facts but he also humiliated Islam again! His actions might have confused people who do not understand the law.
