The Seminar Dakwah Nasional which was organised by an Islamic NGO, Pertubuhan Muafakat Sejahtera Malaysia (MUAFAKAT) was a great success. Since the first day, more than one thousand two hundred people packed the Dewan Merdeka at PWTC where the event was held for two days (8-9 October 2012).
The seminar received a lot of praises and compliments including from the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who launched the seminar. He congratulated MUAFAKAT for being able to organise such seminar.
The Deputy Prime Minister also launched three books which were published by MUAFAKAT.
Among the speakers at the seminar were, Shaikh Dr. Ustaz Uthman El-Muhammady (Very Distinguished Academic Fellow of ISTAC), Datuk Ustaz Hj Mohd Nakhaie Ahmad (Dakwah Global Friendship Society President) and PAS leader, YB Ustaz Nasharuddin Mat Isa (Member of the Parliament for Bachok).
Speaker A. Karim Omar, Secretary General of MUAFAKAT who gave a speech on Dakwah Islamiyyah in Facing the Apostasy Movements in Malaysia was highly praised for his excellent speech and presentation.
During the question and answer session, YB Ustaz Nasharuddin said that some people put Islam aside for power and it is a very bad thing to do. It is our responsibility to do whatever we can to save Islam and we should not wait for someone else to do it.
