Did the Pakatan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat deputy president Azmin Ali instigated Bersih 3.0 protesters to breach the barricades surrounding Dataran Merdeka?
When questioned by the medias during Anwar’s media conference at PKR headquarters in Petaling Jaya, Anwar and Azmin denied accusations that they exchanged signals that later led to their supporters to crash into police barricades in the 2.55pm incident at Dataran Merdeka. And to the journalists who asked questions if the PKR leaders did instigated the crowd and related the matter to the video above, Anwar and Azmin retorted, “This is UMNO’s question” and “Where are you from?”. When a journalist stood up and claimed that he was behind Azmin at the Dataran Merdeka and heard Azmin telling Anwar, “Dataran Merdeka…can enter..can enter”, Azmin snapped, saying “Lies… Those are the lies of Umno”
Then things got heated when film-maker Mr. Benji Lim loudly accused Anwar and Azmin of endangering the lives of protesters exclaiming “There was no leadership and no crowd control. It was completely hijacked by the Opposition!” An altercation also nearly broke out when several party workers and journalists spoke to Lim, which ended with him shouting: “I’m a citizen too!” Which later led him to be taken out by the PKR workers.
So did Anwar and Azmin instigated the crowd?
